I flew into Kansas City from Austin, Texas this past weekend to look at various apartment complexes. I researched for many, many hours before my trip and had a color-coded list of Apartments Review to visit. I am moving there to attend school at IHOPU. My first day of visiting Apartments Review was a surprising disappointment. All of the Apartments Review I looked at were in areas that did not feel safe for me as a single woman. I had ONE more apartment complex on my list, so I thought okay, after a good night 's rest I will start there tomorrow morning. I arrived at The Manor Homes of Eagle Glen on Saturday morning at 10am when they opened their doors. I was met by Brandie and Shayla. I cannot express enough how hospitable, kind, professional, and amazing these two women are!! The thing that stood out to me the most is that I immediately felt at home there. As a Texan in a foreign state, lol, that is a huge compliment!! Additionally, it was Shayla 's day off, and so she went above and beyond by helping me alongside Brandie. Brandie took me on a tour and I absolutely love the 1/1 that I chose! They offer 5 different 1/1 floorplans- so, there is something for everyone. They also have 2/2 and 3/2 floorplans which will come in handy after I meet people at school to be roommates with. I LOVED the fitness center & the resort style zero-entry salt water pool! The pool is gorgeous and it smells amazing without any chlorine! Last, but not least, every apartment comes with a washer and dryer: it 's included in the very fair rent price. Coming from out of state and not being able to bring my washer and dryer: I am so thankful for this feature! Suffice it to say: I felt completely safe in this part of town at this beautiful apartment complex! I am so excited about moving there at the end of July! Thank you Shayla and Brandie so much for welcoming this Texan and making her feel right at home! I 'll see y 'all soon! :)
